Natural Face Mask Recipe 1

The weather in the UK has been really changeable all year so far. Only today we had rain, sun, wind, it was cold, it was warm… coat on, coat off!

Our gorgeous skin takes the brunt of the weather and we all know what you put on your skin gets absorbed into your blood stream. Are you putting weird chemicals on your skin or feeding it nutrients it needs?

It’s not always easy shopping for gently and natural skin care, most have preservatives and chemicals, for sure, inspite of how kind the packaging may be.

So every now and then, I whip up my own totally natural skin products, literally good enough to eat (though I have never been tempted!)

Here is a recipe you can try for yourself for to give your skin an external boost. This one is protein rich and just divine.

lemon juice, egg, cheese, banana, grape seed oil

  • Put in a bowl and mash together.
  • Apply generously to your face and share any remaining mixture with a friend or apply wherever you feel could do with a nourishing boost.
  • Rest for 10-15 minutes, listening to something relaxing or inspirational.
  • Wash off and gently pat dry. Apply a little of your normal moisturiser if you like.
  • Wash the bowl and go look gorgeous for the rest of the day!

I will post another natural face mask recipe next month 🙂

In the meantime, leave a comment and let me know how you liked it!
